No — Lifelong steel sheds do not require a concrete or slab base, saving you hundreds of pounds and a lot of hassle. Thanks to the strong steel box framing, our sheds can be installed on any area of solid and reasonably level ground. Where needed, our team can 'pack out' the building supports to ensure it's level.

Very secure. Our sheds feature solid steel doors fitted with steel bolts, robust steel cladding, and a heavy-duty welded steel frame. Optional upgrades include insulated 3-point deadbolt locking doors and steel security window bars for additional protection.

Our sheds are built on a welded and painted 40mm x 40mm steel box frame. The cladding is galvanised steel, primed and coated with PVC plastisol in your choice of colour. Doors are solid steel fitted with steel bolts.

We sell Apex Sheds (traditional peaked roof), Pent Sheds (single-slope roof), and Steel Garages. All are available in a range of sizes and colours.

Delivery is approximately 4 to 8 weeks from the date of order. We will arrange a specific delivery date with you at least a week in advance to ensure it's suitable.

No, Lifelong steel sheds are maintenance free. The galvanised, primed and PVC-coated cladding means the most you'll need to do is give it a wash with a hose pipe each year to remove dust. You don't need to leave space around the shed or worry about shrubs growing up against it.

Yes, unlike our sheds, our garages do not have a steel box frame floor. Given the nature of the product, a suitable base is required — normally poured concrete.

The plastisol PVC coating is hard-wearing and will only be damaged by something sharp or rough. If this does happen, the steel underneath is still protected by the galvanised coating.

Yes, we offer a range of optional extras including steel hooks, shelving, workbenches, electrical panels with light switch and socket, guttering, extra windows, double doors, extra-wide doors, insulated deadbolt locking doors, and steel security window bars.

We require at least 2 feet of working area around the building to install the cladding. If your installation site doesn't have this, we may be able to clad the building first, then move it into position — just let us know before your delivery date.

We use our own fleet of delivery vehicles and will normally deliver your new building on a 3.5 tonne van. As long as a large van can fit down your road, we won't have a problem reaching you. Our team will need a clear walkway from the vehicle to your intended installation site.

Yes, all Lifelong Apex and Pent steel sheds are supplied with a timber floor as standard. The timber is sourced from sustainable forests (PEFC certified), screwed onto supporting steel runners, and raised off the ground — so it's not subject to dampness or rotting.

Yes, we can move the standard front window to the side of the building, move the door and window to the side, or add an additional door to either side. These are available as optional extras when ordering.

No, our roof sheets are treated with an anti-condensation layer which prevents condensation build-up on the inside of the building.
